Colin Pope is an editor at Front Porch Literary Journal. His poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in Thieves Jargon, Underground Voices, Night Train, and Red Rock Review, among others. He currently holds the Rose Fellowship from Texas State University, where he is pursuing his MFA.

In answer to our question of why he writes, Colin responded:

“The act of writing, for me, is a combination of rehearsal and concert, and that feeling I keep pursuing is the beautiful, spontaneous solo on my instrument.”
