Elias Siqueiros is from El Paso, Texas, and currently lives in Austin. He does many things for a living, depending on what he needs at the time. He waits tables, works at coffee shops, or does freelance proofreading.

In answer to our question of why he writes, Elias responded: “I think for me the answer is simple, if vague. I keep moving forward because there is no other way. It is natural for me. I do it without even thinking about it. I would even say writing is fun for me, extended play.”
